My Attitude

Destined to fight beyond my own means.

I refuse to give in, Life's not as it seems.

There's more to this place and more to

my time.

More than just words behind my rhyme.

Though my heart does get weary,

and I get restless.

I have to stay focused and never forget this.

Cause I know they'll be a time when I'll think back and trip.

Look what I worked for and no lesson did I skip.

I took my time and made my mistakes,

The spice of life if that's what it takes,

and I recall in my youth a poem I read,

Stuck to my life, though the author is dead.

Two roads to take and I -

I took the one Less traveled by.

Not a direct quote, but you know what I mean,

I refuse to let life dictate me my scene.

I'll live it, till it happens because that's what I see.

Not just anyone has my life, not just anyone that can be me!
